One platform for the whole community.
Starwood Community connects residents, property teams and local businesses across three surfaces: a resident web portal, a property-management admin portal and a native mobile app — all sharing one design system and one realtime data platform. Every screen below is a capture of the running product, not a mockup. The dark screens are exactly as captured; their light variants are the same live pages, re-coloured at capture time.
The screens show The Palmer Dadeland, Starwood’s building at 8215 SW 72nd Ave in Miami, as a demo resident (Daniel Ortiz) and a demo property manager (Camila Reyes). The building’s name, address, unit count, amenity names and public links are real; the residents, conversations, merchants, bookings and other activity are demo data. No real resident appears anywhere on this page.

Home dashboard
/homePersonalized landing: any active building notice first (here, one West elevator car out for maintenance), then a since-last-visit digest, community stats, rent balance strip, quick actions, announcements, upcoming events, new neighbors and active polls in one view — plus The Palmer Dadeland’s own website and social accounts, and one-tap links to request a unit transfer or leave a public review.
Community feed
/feedPost creation with categories, drafts and scheduling; a Bulletin tab for resident classifieds; search, sort and filter tabs; realtime updates, reactions, threaded comments, saving and pinned announcements. A resident’s post can be held for manager approval before anyone else sees it, and its author sees it marked pending.
Events
/eventsBrowse and search community events by category in list or month-calendar view, with RSVP status at a glance and resident-hosted events.
Event detail & waitlist
/events/[id]The building’s paid showcase, a resident-hosted Chef’s Kitchen demo: two ticket tiers, both sold out, the event full at 12 of 12 and a Join Waitlist button with two neighbors already queued. Also the attendee list, add-to-calendar and directions, and the event’s comment thread. Events with room take an RSVP, with guests where the host allows them.
Amenities
/amenitiesAmenity catalog by category with photo galleries, rules and live availability. Each space is either bookable or drop-in: bookable ones show their capacity and a Book button, drop-in ones read “Open to residents” and offer no reservation at all. The resident’s own upcoming bookings sit on top.
Amenity booking
/amenities/[id]A bookable space (the first on the list that takes reservations): week availability calendar with hourly slots honoring capacity, duration and advance-booking limits; booking confirmation with check-in code and self-service cancellation.
Maintenance requests
/requestsSubmit work orders with photos, urgency and entry permission; track status, assignee and scheduled dates; comment with @mentions and rate the resolution.
Messages
/messagesRealtime 1:1 chat with file and image attachments, emoji picker and archiving, plus discoverable interest-based group chats.
Resident directory
/directoryOpt-in neighbor directory: a resident is listed only after they choose to be. Interest chips, online status, shared-interest highlighting, connection requests and jump-to-chat.
Local Perks
/marketplaceLocal merchant offers by category with distance-sorted list and map view, reveal-and-copy offer codes, and resident star-ratings and reviews. The businesses in this demo are invented placeholders, not Starwood partners.
Polls
/pollsCommunity polls with live result bars and expiry countdowns; residents can create their own. A poll is single-choice, multiple-choice or an open free-text question, and the manager can additionally allow write-in answers or let voters attach a comment to their vote — the demo polls shown here are single- and multiple-choice.
Notifications
/notificationsGrouped, collapsible inbox with category filters, mark-read and dismiss, and inline accept / decline of neighbor connection requests.
Rent & payments
/paymentsRent ledger with current balance, upcoming charges and payment history, plus opt-in rent-payment credit reporting with per-bureau selection.
Profile & privacy
/profileProfile editing with per-field privacy toggles and a live "what neighbors see" preview; engagement badges, notification preferences, TOTP MFA security center, data export and account deletion.
Admin Portal
The property team’s operating system. Day-to-day operations — residents, events, bookings, work orders with SLA tracking, packages, safety and moderation — next to engagement and churn analytics, and backed by nineteen dedicated regulatory-compliance modules that most competing platforms simply don’t have.

Operations dashboard
/The property manager’s daily check-in: urgent and unassigned work orders, today’s events and a needs-your-attention list, then the property’s KPIs — resident adoption (app accounts as a share of the building’s 844 units: app adoption, not lease occupancy), move-ins, events, event revenue and fill rate — and this week’s community engagement.
Residents
/residentsSearchable roster with units, move-in dates, interests and custom tags; per-resident drill-down, bulk import, invite flow and CSV export.
Event management
/eventsSortable event table with RSVP counts and ticket revenue; create, edit and analyze each event.
Feed & announcements
/feedModerate the community feed: pin, hide and bulk actions; create announcements with priority and expiry; templates and scheduled posts.
Amenity bookings
/bookingsBooking log with upcoming / past / cancelled filters and per-amenity utilization, check-in by token or QR, no-show marking and CSV export.
Work orders
/work-ordersMaintenance queue with stat-card filters, assignees and SLA metrics — average response and resolution hours, compliance rate and overdue count.
Merchants
/merchantsProperty-scoped Local Perks directory with search, category and status filters, active-offer counts and merchant editing. The merchants here are invented placeholders.
Analytics
/analyticsCross-domain KPIs with period-over-period trends: residents, events, revenue, fill rate, resident adoption with invite and import shortcuts, engagement, top contributors and CSV export.
Polls
/pollsPoll lifecycle management: a typed list with vote counts and status, close and delete actions, CSV export, and per-poll results. The results view charts each option, merges write-in answers under a single “Other” bar, and lists free-text responses and vote comments.
Property portfolio
/propertiesPortfolio grid: one card per property with its address, unit count, residents on the app and resident adoption. A manager sees the buildings they run — here The Palmer Dadeland, 8215 SW 72nd Ave, 844 units.
Package log
/packagesFront-desk parcel intake against resident and unit, with pending / collected / returned tracking.
Disruption hub
/disruptionsOutages, shutoffs and closures with the buildings affected, severity, status and estimated resolution; residents see the active ones on their home screen. Here: one West elevator car out for maintenance, a scheduled pool-deck closure and a resolved East water shutoff.
Renewals & churn risk
/renewalsLeases ending in the next 30, 60 and 90 days; a churn-risk distribution built from engagement and work-order signals; a high-risk list; and a renewal watchlist with each resident’s lease end, recent engagement, open work orders and risk band.
Workspace settings
/settingsProperty information, community branding, resident-facing contact details, the property website and social accounts, the transfer and review links residents see, and per-property feature-flag toggles.
Resident Mobile App
The resident experience, native. Five-tab navigation with realtime badges, camera-first posting and maintenance flows, native pickers for booking, and push-ready notifications — sharing the same Supabase data layer as the web surfaces.
